I was also taken to collections for charges I was never informed about. I ended up paying these scumbags to get my name out of collections. The facilities are gross and the employees are creepy and rude. Avoid this dump.

Among the apartments in the Okemos area, I think it is one of the best place to live in many ways.
And, the reception and work processing of the leasing office staff is very efficient and friendly, so I am very satisfied.

manager is very hard to talk to COLD. always has an excuse never says ill look into this and i will get back with you he treats us like were not important or maybe because we are older dont know but he fits in perfect with service manager he is the same way wish EYDES were back they cared.also rules in the lease mean nothing some can do what they want people we talk to think things have went down hill fast in the last year ;

If 0 stars were possible, Id submit that. Where to begin? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. First, our lease was never loaded into the system properly thus creating multiple miscommunications about what the rent amount we should pay was. This lead to court. We submitted all appropriate paperwork for my ESA, yet we were taken to court over those charges as well (illegal). Our home we moved into was beyond unsafe including our countertops falling on our children as they were not attached, our garage and sidewalk is COMPLETELY damaged. I broke my toe on the uneven sidewalk the day we moved in in 2022. Still has yet to be fixed. Our bathroom was unusable for months as the countertop in there was a giant pointed shard of marble. Now, were being forced to go elsewhere to pay rent due to a new policy which in all respects is AMPS, CPKs fault. Not to mention the additional fees tacked on for things again, because of your previously poor management and apartment maintenance. Had the lease been loaded, had the ESA charges been correct - court wouldnt have been necessary. But it was to FORCE you to update my ESA status in your systems. Why is that? You know its illegal. The lack of accountability by corporate is disgusting. The fact that over a year later, there are still issues and you have the audacity to place blame on us for things directly caused by YOU, the LANDLORD and your negligence is disgusting. You are the textbook example as to why people regard Landlords as monsters. People need to live in a safe home and not feel penalized just for being alive. The IRS does enough of that, thank you. To take your own employees to court over back rent that YOU DID NOT CORRECT was mind blowing.I pray no one makes the same mistake with trusting this company to do the right thing. We have plenty of proof that you are in fact -horrible. If you are a potential tenant, Please consider other places to live.

The management team when I first moved in 2021 was so helpful, but earlier this summer I had found live bees in my apartment that was not the case as they got all new staff. The maintenance team throughout my time at Central Park was AMAZING and so quick to help out when they could. When it came to the bee issues the exterminator said oh this should fix it and ended up having more bees in my apartment then before, the maintenance team came out and found 3 nests in which bees were able to come into my apartment. I had dealt with live bees in my apartment from early june to when I moved out in october. Mulitple times was I told that I had to wait for the exterminator to come out which was the 1st and 3rd friday of the month and that they could not come any sooner so I would have to wait, then when I would call about it I was told it was not reported to the staff as it would be a maintenance issue even though it was a third party handling the bee situation. As i was getting ready to move out the new property manager did the best that she could, however I was left with a bad taste in my mouth with how management dealt with this situation.
