    If the amenities are the reason youd consider living here, dont. In-unit washer and dryer are old as dirt and broke multiple times. Vertical blinds and blinds in bedroom are cheap and broke multiple times. Management finds excessive reasons to come in your apartment. Dog park is always a mess with big holes all over the place and no one picks up after their dog (at the dog park or anywhere), the gym is a joke and missing a ton of equipment - the equipment they do have is old. Hallways and stairs of the buildings are dirty, stained, and smelly (weed and god knows what else) Make sure you document EVERYTHING when you speak to management and get it in writing. They dont notate things in your account then they lie about it. Make sure you give 60 written notice before you move out, because they will not remind you then charge you a fortune upon move out. If you are considering spending this much money on an apartment, go to Elevation on Jolly & Okemos. Nicer, cleaner, and more professional staff.

    It was a holiday weekend and I had an emergency maintenance request and the team stopped what they were doing, (id assume they were with family) to come help take care of my maintenance request. Couldnt be more appreciative. Thank you. They take care of their residents regardless of time of year. I believe his name was Ryan as well. Hope that man gets a nice Christmas raise. Ive lived in a few apartments and a good maintenance team is hard to find.

    My husband and I lived there for over 2 years. The rent was very high for what you get, and they significantly increased each renewal. The maintenance staff was great throughout the years. We loved the location but unfortunately never had good experiences with the property managers. We had at least 4 different property managers while living there, which makes it hard when each one tells you different things. We paid a nonrefundable pet fee as well as a monthly pet fee, but they charged us 2 months after moving out for pet related fees? During that time, our previous property manager left and there was a new one assigned. We followed up via email, portal, phone, and stopping in the office to better understand the fees. They were unresponsive and unwilling to help us figure it out. In my opinion, the good location isnt worth the poor experience with the constant turnover of property managers and the risk of receiving large charges months later with little to no explanation or opportunity to discuss. When we finally got ahold of someone months later, we were told theyd look into it and that the fees should be dismissed since they never communicated/allowed us to do a walkthrough with them. A few weeks later our account was closed/access to the portal was turned off so we figured the issue was resolved since we hadnt heard anything back from them. Come to find out, they ignored our follow up communications and just sent it to collections without follow up/notice. Please be cautious if you decide to lease here, and make sure to log everything and take pictures before moving out in case they submit random charges. We would have been willing to look past some of the issues/high rent if they were more reasonable to work with after the fact, but unfortunately it has been a horrible experience since moving out.
