Great apartments with great services. Lived here for one year and I was satisfied. Close (less than 5 min with car) to everything Meijer, gym (planet fitness), Target, Kroger, gas station,... and 15 mins to MSU. Close to a very beautiful natural area which I missed the most! If you care about proximity, here's the best place. But I noise form floors was annoying and also had a poor asphalt around.

Great location! Its close to a nice wooded area and some safe neighborhoods that are easy to run in. They are older apartments so yeah the walls are thin and you can hear your upstairs neighbors walking around. While its a little pricey the utilities (heat and water) included in the rent makes it more acceptable

Location is good but wall is too thin floor is too thin u can hear every yelling from downstair or ur neighbor yelling and comparr to other apartment as its close to lot of stores u get tons of junk mails

I rated a 3 but don’t get me wrong, it is a fairly nice place. It is also a reasonably priced place to live for the location and being in Okemos. I lived in apartment A15 for a year, ending in June 2018. THE FLOORS ARE ALMOST UNBEARABLY CREAKY. I couldn’t view the apartment prior to moving in because “they needed the previous tentants permission, and they were not responding to management’s request.” I think the creaky floors would have been a deal breaker for me. They are bad. Also when any neighbor’s heat kicks on, there is a loud repetitive clicking noise that is very annoying when trying to focus on homework or fall asleep at night. Also my next door neighbor is a slob and smokes cigarettes in his apartment and the smells travel into my apartment. These are my main issues. Some people may be more tolerable, but I had to give 3 stars. Positives: maintenance is top notch, quick and effective. Also there is a natural area with trails next door and like I said, stores like the mall and grocery are very close. Consumer thoughts: it’s nice but for the price I paid for an updated 1 BR, I expected better from a competitive monopoly like DTN.

I love living at Okemos Village Apartments. Their staff is fantastic and very efficient. If I have a maintenance issue, it is dealt with right away. The apartment is walking distance to restaurants and shopping centers. My one bedroom apartment is very spacious and stays nice and warm in the winter time. In the summer time, I can open the front and back window to get an amazing cross breeze. Having heat and water included helped me to save money on my living expenses. If you are looking for quiet and affordable apartments I, highly recommend Okemos Village Apartments.
