The worst. Please do your homework on this business. Tried to overcharge $3700+ and when corrected they act like they're graciously helping. 1/10 would never work here and feel sad for any souls in their way

I submitted my 60 day notice through the ResidentPortal, which had my email listed. I didnt receive a copy and now theyre trying to say it was never submitted. And are going to charge me nearly $3000 a month month until my new 60 day notice which they wont even accept or give me a proper way to submit it.. I will do everything in my power to make sure nobody ever goes through the same thing I have with Ivy Crossing or asset living ever again. I was in an apartment that was overpriced with no heat or AC for two years while being disregarded after leaving 300+ voicemails with no callbacks.. theyre doing this

I currently live in Gateway Place, and I have been waiting like 5 MONTHS for them to fix my dryer. Since the start of my lease August 31, 2023 it's been broken, and I also lived without hot water for the first 3 weeks. Maintenance came in and "fixed" my dryer 4 times at least, but literally did nothing. Finally after filing a complaint with Asset Living who manages this place maintenance came for like 10 mins and flipped a switch or something they said and it finally worked. The issue is there was a huge buildup of lint and I told them they need hvac but two separate office staff on two separate occasions said it was fine and the maintenance guy who finally fixed it and his partner said no it's fine. No it was not fine because after 3 or 4 days it almost lit on fire from the lint buildup. Now, I have no clue if I will have a dryer again for the remainder of my lease because it took almost 5 months for them to even bother fixing it, which washer and dryer is the reason I chose this place over others. It's something they use to reel people in, and then apparently once we are locked into a lease they just laugh whenever we have issues and tell us tough luck deal with it. This place is a whole entire nightmare, because as it turned out, my "remodeled apartment" was not remodeled and got the famous "landlord special". My knob to turn gas on and off at the hot water heater was so warped, and the hot water heater broke the day we moved in so they couldn't turn it off and fix it and we needed the gas company and a plumber. Between the 4 parties, office-maintenance-gas company-plumber no one told anyone anything so they all had to come back out and do their thing again. I have improperly connected floorboards so when I mop they warp and raise at the edges, my skylight is leaking and there is a large discoloration stain in multicolor so it's been an issue for a couple leases worth at least, there is a bubble behind my paint, probably fill of water, in the corner by my sliding glass door.
Edit: Gateway Place Apartments does not respect work at home jobs. They believe that work at home agents can get ALL the time off they need and do not need to work on their scheduled days. I have NEVER, NOT ONCE had anything scheduled on the days off I have provided for them each time. Only on days that I work. When I asked for a little notice or options to schedule, I was told that it is not possible. Basically, I am in trouble at work because I chose to rent from the wrong people. They are actively and continually sabotaging my job by intentionally scheduling everything that needs entry to my apartment only on days that I work. What else am I supposed to believe, when they say they refuse to work with me on times and days? What else am I supposed to believe when it's a recurring and constant issue? They CAN work with me, they just REFUSE to.
