Rented a car in New Jersey and brought it here for return. I did return the car at the end of the day, but the visibly annoyed women working at the counter completely changed the original rate. I paid $242 and out of nowhere when I returned the car, they changed everything to $507. It was evident they did this out of spite. I had to submit a complaint to get the difference refunded which took a week. I had another rental for a trip to Puerto Rico which I canceled and will completely avoid Avis in the future. Will stick to Enterprise.

Pick up went smoothly. Ended up needing to return early. Drop off and refund went smoothly. When I called, customer service was helpful and prompt. Had no issues and them being open on the weekend really helped me out in a pinch.

I'm pleased with my recent rental but frustrated by an unexpected $9+ per gallon fuel charge on my receipt. I refilled the tank before returning, with proof. This is my first encounter with such a charge.

Removed one star because 1) it was hard reach out to associates at this location 2) they could offer a discount as I rented for a couple months.

Avis in Marlborough run by BobbieJo is a reliable and customer focused business. I use this service for business and have learned to count on a high-level of reliability and customer service. Cars are clean and ready to go. She and her team are alway friendly and professional.
