REI - Closed

Nice little store, but without a lot of the selection that other stores in the area have. They have an especially small selection of men's clothing.

Was in this store the other day looking to purchase a new mountain bike. I stood there near the bike counter for 15 mins while 2 associates just stood in the back staring at me, never asking if they could assist in anyway. Finally an associate come out from behind the counter, excusing himself to get around me only to grab a bycicle wheel from another customer that just walked in the door. I will not return this store again and if I could give less than 1 star I would.

The old guy salesman wouldn’t stop approaching us every 4 minutes to ask if we were “still doing good” even though we were clearly getting irritated by this. When we asked to be left alone he argued with us. On top of that they didn’t have a good selection of any of the things we were trying to buy. Only one standalone fire steel (not part of a kit) which was too small to be of any use if needed, and only two sharpening stones . In contrast, they had about 40 headlamps.

I had a great experience. I had a very specific shirt that I was looking for and they had a hard time finding it. But Margo made the extra effort and found the shirt. And it was even on sale!
