I applied online for an application with the predisposed information that if I cancel the application or dont get chosen for the lease I would get my $275 deposit back. On top of that I was being forced to move into an apartment that I have yet to see, pay for it starting Jan 8 and not move in until Jan 12. Talk about customer service lol. The number on the card is also ignoring my calls and texts as on the fee paper given it says that this deposit is REFUNDABLE. Legally Im going to sue as thats false advertisement

I lived at The Crescent from 2017-2021 and I loved it. Recently, I had an issue with a delivery from my bank, which was using my old address. Vincent, the wonderful concierge, was more helpful, patient, kind, and competent than every person I spoke to at my bank and the delivery company combined. He is a gem! From my time there, the people working on the ground made living there wonderful, and I can see that is still true. Mr. T, who is the manager in charge of maintenance, was exactly the same as Vincent: kind, helpful, a joy to talk to!

I wasnt sure if I wanted to leave a review but Ive just had it with this place. Weve lived here almost 3 years. The location is nice and the apartments are spacious, but thats about all it has going for it. The building is not well maintained and the apartments have ongoing issues. Ill start with the building. The most obvious issue is the elevators. Ive lost count of how many times theyve broken down. They break constantly, particularly the one that goes to the parking garage. Its been broken for over a week now, and the building management sent out an email blaming the residents for holding the elevator doors open too long. Next, the parking garage situation is bad. Theres one entrance to the garage, and its shared with the restaurants and retail nearby. Its also the only place where moving trucks/supply trucks can park, so the entrance is blocked nearly everyday by some sort of truck or the dumpsters, and you have to play a game of chicken with cars trying to enter/leave. Its really not safe and Im surprised there hasnt been an accident. Also, there have been two people found dead in the parking lot at the econolodge next door, and building management never said a peep. We still dont know the cause. Our apartment itself was nice at first but since moving in weve just had so many issues. We had to have our sink replaced, our HVAC unit replaced (our AC was broken for 10 days in the middle of July), and now we have to have part of our ceiling ripped out because of water damage caused by snow melt from the balcony above leaking through to our living room. This is after they spent a whole week repairing the balcony and we had to deal with extremely loud construction noise above our apartment, supposedly to prevent this exact issue. Our lease is up this summer and I cant wait to move out.

I resided at Crescent Falls Church during two separate periods. During my initial stay, I was impressed by the building, amenities, staff, and the overall quality of the apartments and common areas. These positive aspects motivated me to return for a second stay. However, my second experience was quite different. It seems that there was a shift in the management of the building following the Covid pandemic, resulting in a decline in the impeccable standards I had previously experienced. I encountered frequent maintenance issues with the elevators and alarms, faced difficulties in communicating with the staff, and had an unpleasant departure from the building. The departure was marred by billing problems and disrespectful customer service. I feel obligated to caution potential renters to exercise caution regarding the condition of the apartment they receive and to pay special attention during the final audit. I had trusted the company to conduct a fair assessment of the apartment, as it was in excellent condition when I vacated it. However, I was unexpectedly charged for a new carpet, with the reasoning that it had an unpleasant odor (which it did notI was living there). Despite leaving the apartment early, which allowed them to lease it to others ahead of schedule, and even paying for express cleaning, I felt unjustly treated. This incident left me extremely disappointed, and I cannot recommend Crescent Falls Church to anyone after this experience. If, by any chance, you find yourself without other options and must reside there, I advise you to report the persistent condensation on the windows, which causes the apartment carpets to become wet. Fortunately, I now know that I won't have to endure such an ordeal with Crescent Falls Church in the future.
