Budget Car Rental

The guy working the counter" Jim" is the worst employee I've ever encountered anywhere. He's not helpful and unwilling to do his job. Some advice Jim if you're having a bad day don't take it out on customers

The staff at Budget car rental in Saint Charles IL is the place to go. If you want great service, great prices and A very personable friendly staff. Baker was knowledgeable in helping me extend my rental, service was fast and COVID Practices were visibly being done. I will definitely rent from Budget again.

They were very patient and gave us help navigating the reservation with corporate and checking that our car insurance would work with our van. We called ahead and asked that they hold a van for us and it was waiting for us. Overall great service.

I have NEVER left a review for anyone or anywhere. However i am in quite the pickle now so if this can save someone from the same, then great. I made a reservation on August 16th scheduled for a 16 foot moving truck for September 17th. I received a confirmation email with a confirmation number reciting the details to the reservation. I get a call today, September 13th letting me know that they no longer have any trucks available for that day. They also made it clear that there were no trucks to be transported from any surrounding locations for us to use either. Bottom line the unprofessionalism & lack of diligence on their end that we now have to pay for on our end was extremely infuriating as they were not trying to accommodate or be helpful what so ever. The gentlemen on the phone even had the audacity to ask for sympathy on the fact that he has to make this same phone call a few times a day. Having been proactive & making this reservation well in advance to our moving date it was at a lower cost then as we now know if you made a few days before hand. I urge you to rent elsewhere as wether its only this location specifically or Budget as a whole, they are NOT reliable what so ever.

I prepaid for a car rental. 4 hours prior to pickup they call to inform me they don't have a car for me. The rental prior, I was billed for damage I did not do. Use this place with caution and as a last alternative.
