If I could give zero stars I would, but unfortunately I cannot. I rented a vehicle from them yesterday, and began driving it and it stalled three times on the highway. Come to find out they gave me a rental car with no oil in it! Literally, no oil. I had to call the state Troopers to come and assist me last night as I was on my way to a wake. I will never rent from this Avis location again.
I took the rental back this morning and they are giving me another one. Lets see what happens with this one. I will be mortified if something goes wrong.

I rented a vehicle a month in advance and prepaid for it. I called a week ahead of time to confirm and ask a couple details regarding the rental. When I finally showed up my reserved vehicle was not available and I was offered to take a smaller vehicle or leave. The smaller option did not work for me and I was forced to go to OHare airport to get a rental car from Avis and had to pay extra $250 dollars. One after I called to discuss the issue I was given a refund for the extra amount I paid. No consideration was made that I spent over an hour at Skokie location trying to get there car I prepaid for or the two additional hours I ended up spending getting a vehicle from OHare airport.
This is very poor and unreliable customer service.

Worse place ever. I had a reservation and ubered to get my car rental and the guy tells me there isnt anything available and wanted me to get an SUV and pay more. The guy was also non apologetic and seemed like he didnt give a ..Very poor service and never will I ever again rent a car from Avis.

They charged me extra 150 dollars and when I called them to ask they said "it was a glitch! I corrected now" after few days, issue is still there and they don't pick my phone up. Not good.
