I reserved a car rental online a day ago and I chose this location because it is closer to my house. When I went in the morning to pick up the car, they do not have ANY car available!

Reserved a vehicle for my business trip, arrived at the confirmed time and location by Uber, was told there is no vehicle available matching the class of reservation. I then asked what vehicles were available as I need a car to get to meetings, they said they had no vehicles, even though I had a confirmation and an email stating the same.
I have been a Hertz Gold Plus member for 12 years and have never been treated so terribly. Was forced to Uber back to my hotel and then got a rental from another company, and paid to Uber there. Wasted time and money.
Hertz offered $25 off my next rental and told me they are sorry I am not satisfied with their resolution, which isn't a resolution if both parties are not satisfied.
It costs 6 times more to gain one customer than an existing one, and loyalty is supposed to be rewarded. Taking my corporate account elsewhere. Pathetic.
