Midway Car Rental Newport Beach

I came across these guys in a pinch because United Auto Rental at the John Wayne Airport failed to inform me that the cargo van I had reserved did not get returned to them in time for my reservation until 30 minutes before my pick up time! I would not have even known if I hadn't called them ahead to let them know I was on my way!!! So I was in a huge bind now in desperate need of a van or a truck. I called around to everyone listed on Google in Orange County and finally I found Midway through expedia.com.. After some wiggling my needs around they were able to rent me a truck with pick up before 12:30 pm without any hassles. the rental procedure was so easy. I was in and out of there in under 10 mins. They were so friendly and they were amazing on the return. Ignacio was very gracious and understanding to my situation from the beginning and I was very grateful to have such a pleasant experience with Midway after the nightmare from United Auto. Thanks again Midway! And especially Ignacio!

I’ve rented from the Newport Beach and the El Segundo locations in 2021 and had a great experience both times. The Newport Beach location’s process was quick and paperless. I appreciated the emailed records and photos. Thank you!

Easiest car rental ever. Great customer service and competitive prices. Will definitely use them again when I’m in the area.
