Convenience of having a local Hertz is fantastic. While the car selection will be much smaller than a major airport, they were able to provide me with my requested vehicle class. Booking in advance is key. We were very satisfied!

If you need to rent a car, this is absolutely the place to go to. The team here is extraordinarily nice and go above and beyond what is asked. I have been continually renting with them for the last two years and can imagine myself doing so for many more! Time and again they have managed to assist me with a same day rental, specific vehicle, and anytime a hiccup occurred it was smoothed out instantly. The cars have been consistently clean, comfortable, and reliable as well as the staff being kind, understanding, and helpful. Truly a place that takes pride in what they do and can absolutely make a rental experience wonderful!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and customer service! FAIR WARNING: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HERTZ DEALER! Promised a vehicle through a reservation, then at last minute it suddenly disappeared for no reason. Not even a sincere apology given! They deserve to go out of business!!!

The worst! I rented a car from June 30 to July 4. When I went to pick up the car, the gas tank was not filled. I pointed this out to the man inspecting the car for me and he told me he would call it 3/4 tank to make up for the missing bit. I returned the car on the 4th and there was no one to receive the car, so I dropped the keys in the box. I went by the office on July 5,and they checked the computer and told me that the return was fine. I threw away my contract because I assumed I wouldn't need it any more. Today, I found an extra charge from hertz for $21.00+ for gas, I assume. They can't tell me anything because I don't have my contract. Never rent from hertz Camarillo, or from hertz in general. They'll trick you out if your money. Crooks! There is an Avis 2 doors down, use them! They may be a few dollars more, but youll save in the end. Avis didn't try to take an extra $21
