This Hertz earned a lifetime customer thanks to Cody's customer service on June 16! Exceptional attention to detail with a rather difficult car rental situation. Provided superb help getting me into a proper vehicle for my needs, all with a smile.

I waited in line for my turn, and was told a much higher price than what I saw online. This entitled white young male comes from behind me and interrupts my reservation with the front clerk as if his inquiry is more important than others. The clerk allowed it and in fact didn't even say excuse me let me take care of him, just went ahead and ignored me. My credit card was sitting there waiting to be charged. Finally the guy that wanted to change his car noticed my card on the counter and told the clerk to go ahead and charge me and he will wait. The clerk said no it's fine, didn't even consult me if it's okay! This guy goes back and forth about what color car he wants and has to be convertible, this went on for about 10mins with the clerk who is also a white young male and completely disregarding me, a female Latina! Can you imagine he didnt get the color he wanted, oh no! But as far as me, they can careless, have me wait although i was in the middle of my reservation! The clerk gets him a Shelby convertible, just what the customer asked for and clerk volunteered to lower the cost for him, his words, "the shelby is $60 but i will give it to you for $10" the customer was shocked and said oh okay! So why couldn't the clerk match my online price and my AAA discount as he gave that white male a volunteered discount without the customer even asking or suggesting?! He didn't even bother to give me options when I said the price showed lower online and he just wanted to get rid of me. He was very unpleasant and my experience felt discriminating as if I'm no one and my business is not wanted! Horrible service and I felt uncomfortable.

Thieves!!!!!! There is nobody there when you return. They charged me over $13 in a fuel surcharge despite the fact that I filled up the vehicle a half a mile away from the airport at a 76 station. Drove 53 miles and put in 4 gallons to fill it up. They send a bill right after I go through security and I had to spend 30+ minutes on the phone jumping through hoops to get my money back. Several people said they could not refund my money and to go back to the counter (and miss my flight). Finally someone said they were refunding my money, although I have yet to receive verification of that!

I recently hired a car from here and it was the best experience I have ever had with car rental. I had a car booked with Budget however when I went to pick up, they had given me wrong information and I couldn't hire with them. A man behind the Hertz counter overheard my conversation and intervened with a solution. He had great costumer service, very polite and super helpful. He single handedly saved my holiday. Due to this man, I will now only ever use Hertz for all my car rentals.
