I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Josh at Budget Car Rental in Scottsdale, AZ. Despite having prepaid for a car rental, Josh refused to honor the reservation, claiming there was a discount code missing. He was unhelpful and insisted on charging me double the agreed-upon rate. Instead of rectifying the situation, he forced me to drive an additional 30 minutes to another location that honored the correct rate. Josh's lack of professionalism and attempt to overcharge me left me extremely dissatisfied with Budget Car Rental's service.

Doubletree pick up is highly recommended. Better pricing and no long lines like the airport. The rep was polite and attentive but he didn't show me how to drive the Tesla he gave me. I figured it out but a brief lesson should be included. Thanks

What a ripoff! I called the customer service number 5 minutes after closing to ask all-out after hours drop off and was told this was ok. Just to wake up to an extra $300 charge!!! NEVER again! I will stick to enterprise.
*** reached out to them like they asked and got no response. I'm not really surprised.

Reserved a sedan. Arrived and was informed that the only options available were a pickup truck or an electric car. Agent informed me that other cars were present but reserved for higher tier members. I informed him that a pickup truck or electric car would not be viable options. He offered no alternative and I left with no vehicle.
