        The cleaning and maintenance staff are always great, and the location is unbeatable. However, the fire alarm system is beyond problematic. We have lived here for over two years and the piercingly loud alarms have consistently gone off at least monthly for no legitimate reason. This could be in the afternoon in the middle of work hours or late at night. It is happening as I type this review in the 24 degree weather (same thing happened last year as snow melted, wasnt fixed). The issue is so frequent that it poses a danger to all residents in the event of a real fire and Im surprised the city hasnt gotten involved. Edit: I guess I need to start keeping track of every time the alarm goes off - its now been going off for 30 minutes since 5:45am (1/26) again in the short time since I initially wrote this review a week ago (its also about 50 degrees outside, by the way). Edit 2: Alarm went off again in the evening of 2/14, and again at 2pm on 2/16 in the middle of work hours.

        Best Apartment in Dallas hands down - the only apartment I've lived in where some tenants have been there 5+ years just bc of how much they love it here and I completely agree. The staff, especially Brett, are so hard working and are always smiling. If you're thinking about living on Knox, Armstrong should be at the top of your list.

        UPDATE: 1/26/24 Fire alarm going off at 5:45AM. Another great wakeup call. Do NOT move here. One or both of the elevators at our building are always broken. I have to walk up and down 8 floors to reach my car. The fire alarm goes off on the regular basis. If you enjoy being woken up in the middle of the night this place is perfect. The fire alarm has gone off the past two nights, 12:45AM on 9/27/2022 and 3:00AM on 9/28/2022. It took them 2 hours to turn it off the first night and 1 hour to turn it off the second night. It is now 11/06/2022 at 1:20AM and the fire alarm is going off again. 11/12/2022 12:10AM fire alarm went off again. 11/13/2022 9:24PM fire alarm went off again. 12/23/2022 9:36PM fire alarm went off again. Do you really want to live like this? DO NOT MOVE HERE.
