One month and one day after moving out of a rental property I received an email indicating a partial return of my deposit. the rental property was left in an immaculate state. However, upon moving in the carpet was so filthy. The rental agency did replace it and shortly after moving in, the dishwasher was full of animal hair and which appeared to be litter box contents, and they replaced the dishwasher. During the year of rental we were overcharged for a Service to the heating unit and later refund it. Upon moving out of this property, the carpet was cleaned and vacuumed. However, we were charged for a deep, clean and carpet clean. We bleach down the tubs but we were charged for deep cleaning. We use our own appliances and store their appliances in, the attached storage unit. However, we were charged The reinstall of appliances that we put in place. Upon moving in, we had to purchase our own Dryer duck hose, and washer machine hose. Today I feel robbed and taken advantage of. please be aware of these practices if any means necessary. I am fighting back to get my return!

We moved into a house that was in complete disrepair. The floors were scratched, the blinds were broken, the walls were damaged. They had us fill out a property condition sheet upon moving in--which we did--and they told us not to worry about it. We paid rent two weeks early the entire time that we lived there. While living there, the sump pump broke under the house, so the bottom of the house flooded, and the heater below the house shorted out, leaving us (a couple with two kids) with no heat when it was 12 degrees outside. The HVAC people wouldn't fix it, because there was too much flooding under the house. The plumber said he couldn't do anything until the water drained completely, which took weeks. They asked if we could use a space heaters, but we could not, because they would trip the breakers every time we did. Their suggestion: blankets. Months later, after their handyman came to inspect the house, we told him about that issue. He said that he had repeatedly warned them about the sump pump, and asked them to change it, but they decided to wait until they absolutely had to. Upon moving out, they charged us for damage that was already there when we moved in, despite it being on the move in sheet. They did not answer the phone or return our calls. Emails took them over a week to respond to at best, and they wouldn't answer any questions we asked over email, or in voicemail. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!!!
