Avis Car Rental

Extremely helpful staff. I did have a issue with a rental car that wouldn't start. Calling for roadside assistance was a nightmare. Trying to reach someone in the United States to discuss what occurred was impossible. My issue was with roadside assistance, not the local staff.

Ive rented a vehicle from this particular location and the same staff for many occasions and Ive always had a very positive experience with this location. They are very accommodating and are willing to give an upgrade at a reasonable price if the vehicle Ive rented does not meet my needs.

1. Sevier lack of customer service and a large over charge on bill I was told my total was 552.09' was charged 656.13, difference of 104.04 without reasonable explanation from an out of country 800 phone line representatve thar needs more training. Asked for a supervisor who again could not come up with a resonable answer to why the over charge. Both these representatives were more concerned about placing blame on the computer system and telling me no refund , no refund instead of explaining the overages in a reasonable and understandable way. 2.The app said I could split the bill I told the check in fellow I needed to split the bill but was given no help or consideration to split the bill between C.C.'s. He was only interested in running the card on file asap as i was trying to explaine that i needed to split the bill with my boss and could do it on the app since he could not do it for me once again because of the computer system. I think that is a lame as excuse, clearly if the danger system will let me do something as a customer knowledgeable employees should be able to do even more then I can. I will personally start to shop around for better customer care in a car rental business and will not recommend Avis to anyone. Plus I will be sharing my experience on all social media's and surveys asked of me.
