    The staff were friendly while they made me wait 3 days for a car to become available. After I arrived, it took 2 hours and then I was told there was no cars available except all electric suv. I do not have capability to charge that kind of car and there's no charging station in my town... but was told to go the next morning to another hertz and they would trade it out. So I did that. The hertz on N Oak laughed at me. She laughed and said " we will not inconvenience another customer for you". I left them the electric vehicle and found a friend to bring me home. Im now without a car at all, after an accident, This has been the worst experience and I cannot recommend enough that you insist on a different company besides Hertz.

    The customer service was great. The man who helped me was friendly, kind and personable. I was there for a car insurance claim and needed a car quickly. They called and got me in within 24 hours. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes or less for both drop off and pickup! Very friendly staff.

    Reserved a car on March 7th for March 21st at noon. When I arrived the counter clerk asked my name and I told him. He said that they didnt have any cars and asked if i reserved my car on March 21st at 9am. I told him no and he said they didnt have any cars and that I needed to go to another location. I asked him to cancel the reservation and he said that I needed to cancel it on the hertz app. I asked him to cancel it because Hertz would charge me for cancellation. He then pushed a Hertz pamphlet my way and told me to call them. I called my ride (the person who dropped me off) while I was in the lobby and asked them to pick me up because they didnt have any cars. I then stepped outside of the Hertz office and called corporate to cancel the reservation due to them not having any cars. The counter rep ( black dude with kc royal gang tattoos on his neck) came out and said he would contact the manager to see if they could get a car and honor my reservation. So I waited. The counter clerk offered a weak apology. I waited while he checked a car out to another young lady. As hes checking her rental he rudely said to me I cant authorize your card. Since I booked my rental through Hertz gold, and this has not been my experience any of the other times Ive rented I advised him of the confirmation number. He went silent and finished helping the other customer. Then he rudely apologized again. I told him that I was okay with the apology and he should stop, and that the only time theres an issue is when he is there in my experience. My prior reservation in February 2024 I had a similar experience with him lying about rentals not available and him not knowing how to process my reservation IN addition to HIM not honoring my request to be picked up and I had to Uber there (hertz reimbursed the fee). All in all I like the rates and the vehicles but that guy is HORRIBLE at customer service and should find more suitable employment for his personality type.

    If you have a car reserved for February 14 they will be closed because of the Chiefs parade. They lied and said their headquarters knows but they don't. They wouldn't even help me find another location. At first they said I could pick it up a day earlier, but Olivier the so-called manager rudely said I would have to pay for the extra day even though this was not my fault. The worst customer service and management I have ever seen and he doesn't care. He wouldn't even look at me. Hides behind his computer. Had to cancel my reservations for this location and make another reservation forcing me to pay a higher rate. I filed a complaint with BBB and still lost my case. BBB is worthless these days against these big corporations. I will never rent from a Hertz again. Especially this low-class, hood location. How can Crown Center even allow business in their establishment?
