This will be my last time renting with Hertz. They doubled my daily and hourly rate from my original Rental Record. I was expecting to pay around $176.24 for my day and a half rental but I was charged $352.08 for a standard vehicle. Ive spoken to customer service of both Hertz and my credit card company. Apparently because the original contract lists these as estimated charges they can change them at any time. Cute. I wish I would have done more research and learned about Hertz bankruptcies and predatory practices prior to renting from them.
