I was able to find several things to try on and didn't have to wait too long to use the fitting room. It looked like servicing them wasn't a priority, as the rooms were filled with discarded clothing.
There had been a long line of shoppers when I arrived, but the counter was staffed well and they were moving folks along very efficiently. The clerk I had was very friendly and gave me information about the $ I'd save if I opened an account. I am usually not a pushover, but she was really friendly and not pushy, so I am now a proud owner of a Belk's credit card :)
