Here I am thinking I was going to get at least $10-$15 for my 20 items that was barely used, if not used at all. Not only did they not want my barely used items, they only wanted the pair of khakis they was the most used item I brought to them. The khakis even had a small stain in them. While I was browsing through the store, there were two garments with holes in them and I wasn't even looking for discrepancies. You have to be in a hard place to sell items there and in even a harder place to buy clothes there. I recommend not going at all only if you have clothes with holes, stains, and at least 5 years old.

I work here and I love working here. I've heard stories of a darker past but I never experienced it. This place is awesome, my coworkers are basically my best friends, and we have the best customers. Pretty much everything I own comes from here. I love everything about plato's closet!

I had an experience with this particular Plato's Closet that will result in my abandonment of shopping or selling at ALL locations. Rude employees, no customer service, and they chose to not purchase any of my clothing after I politely questioned how a 15 minute clothing inspection was going on an hour! So I took my stuff to Buffalo Exchange at 1209 N. State St in Bellingham, where they quickly checked my clothes and purchased EVERY LAST ITEM! I was paid over $250 for the 33 pieces of clothing that Plato's Closet employees said we "out of season" or "in undesired condition." Believe it or not, they same Plato's employee that said my clothes were out of season, told me that they DO NOT base the clothes they purchase on the season or time of the year! BEWARE!
