Kind employee (maybe owner) but just a distributor and didn’t seem to care about quality control or customers. I had a small order of two boxes, waited a week for delivery and the store called me when the shipment arrived. I received the boxes in bad shape, opened them, and the locking edges of all LVP floor pieces were damaged. Clawed Carpets wastes my time so I immediately returned the items and went to Home Depot. If Clawes was taking care of me as a customer, they would have checked the items first and dealt with the manufacturer. If so, I would have continued business with them.

They used subcontractors and are not reliable. I dealt with this company twice and every time something went wrong. 1. About two years ago, they put wood in a bedroom with a squeaky floor. It was written in the contract that they would have fixed this. The subcontractors didn't fix the problem - they maybe used a screw or two for a quick temporary fix. When I came back to their office a few months later and complained about squeaking floor, they looked at me as I was asking for money. I stopped by twice - no one came to check the problem although the floor was still under their warranty 2. Just recently, I invited these guys for an appraisal - I hoped to complete another small project and also to address the old issue. They took measurements and disappeared. After two weeks, I was able to talk to a receptionist; he told me that the guy who did the appraisal left their company with all the paperwork he had. My advice to myself and you: It is better to pay an extra buck or two someone else to get decent service. These guys are unprofessional and don't keep their word.
