    This is the third time I am posting a review that should have been answered by owner. My daughter and I. were yelled at by a floor manager called Wanda. I didnt know this could happen at a major store like Lowes, and I still cannot believe it happened. It was the first Saturday in March: we were looking for fruit trees along the Groveton area, and saw that there was a bunch in frontjust outside Lowes garden Center chainlink wall; we saw two trees we liked and, since it was pouring and there were two staff at the register inside, just a few feet away, we tried to call out to them and ask them to open the gate so we could pay there; for some reason, they. ignored us choosing to continue a lively conversation; We were forced to make our way through the rain carrying two trees all the way to the main building; I was exasperated by the senselessness of the extra effort it took just to. pay $78 , when it could have been so much easier; I complained to the floor manager, Wandaand instead of getting the standard apology and of at least sympathizingshe launched into a verbal assault yelling that I didn't HAVE to buy the trees if I didn't want to walk extra distance in the rain; she was still abusively loud, screaming at us as we lefttotally in shock. First, why did this person feel so free to actually raise her voice and yell at us for not understanding what were the workers in the garden center being paid for? Second, Surely this unheard of behavior cannot be a first time occurrence, unless it is tolerated by upper management. Third, I expect an apology, and am going to top management next unless I have a response. My daughter is my witness , and also happens to be a lawyer.

    I would be shocked to find out that this Lowes has ever actually sold something kept in a cage. To clarify, stock was fine. No one could open the cage for me or responded to pages. I learned after waiting a half hour and a couple pages that the department manager, and only department worker at the time, was taking his dinner break. Which is SUPER cool. I worked retail and you have to let people disconnect for their breaks, even if the law didn't require it. If I find out that his dinner break was questioned, I'll go to the Department of Labor myself. He did nothing wrong. What's not cool, and is entirely a senior store management issue, is not having backup responding to pages. They don't have to be experts in the area, but making a customer wait because no one was available to open a lock is pretty inexcusable. There were several front-end people available, but they couldn't open a cage and bring a product up for me to buy. I eventually had the MOD paged, correctly assuming he could open the lock. The department manager had returned by that point.

What's not cool, and is entirely a senior store management issue, is not having backup responding to pages.
