Extended Stay America - San Antonio - Colonnade

Every hallway was full of weed smoke, Live and dead roaches visible in kitchen and in the stairways. I understand some people are living there full time, but if they have cockroaches with them they need kicked out. Attached photo is of dead roaches behind refrigerator. Room was fine if you dont mind roaches crawling on you.

Our room here strongly smell like weed. We have a 1 year old and let the front desk guy Erik know this was unacceptable - we booked a NONsmoking room. The front desk guy Erik had attitude and told us to just go stay at another hotel. Why sell that room as a Non-smoking room?? I ended up booking the marriott northeast a mile away (negotiated down in person) for half price - $69/night for a hotel 10 times better! Its a big hotel with over 500 rooms so they pretty much always have empty rooms and would rather sell one for half price then never at all. This extended suite place doesn't even deserve 1 star - seriosly a disgusting hole in the wall hotel. Poor customer service and selling rooms that smells like weed as 'Non-smoking rooms' is completely unacceptable.

Public areas smelled like smoke, there was a dog in someones room barking, and one of the front door locks had been stripped by someone. Also not the cleanest and the water pressure wasnt great. Wouldnt stay again. But the beds were actually comfortable.
