WoodSpring Suites San Antonio North Live Oak I-35

This place is INFESTED with roaches. Upon arriving the front desk manager was very polite and welcoming. Once I got into my room and settled I took a short nap after my long trip, upon waking and entering the restroom I saw several roaches in the sick and on the walls. I promptly asked for another room to which the manager was very apologetic and polite. The second I opened the door for my second room I notice bugs in the sink, the wall and on the floor. I asked for a refund and found another hotel. My both rooms were non-smoking but smelled like wet dog and smoke. The elevator even smelled like smoke. AVOID AVOID AVOID

DO NOT RESERVE THIS PLACE. I reserved here based on the pictures and price range thinking it would be something modest but better than a motel... I couldn't have been more wrong. The place is full of cockroaches, it doesn't feel safe, the walls are way too thin, the shower was broken and fixed and it was still dripping for the whole stay, there are no blankets or toiletries, and our non-smokers room stank of cigarette and humidity. I didn't get anything sub $100 to avoid all of the above and dealing with other unpleasantries but at $150/night this is ridiculous.

I'm torn in between Stars. Even though it took a month for us to get our taxes back as promised I do understand that it was more of an System error instead of a human error. The manager and his team were extremely helpful and kind through the whole process and even when out of his way to accommodate us the best he could. I would highly recommend to stay here
