Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital Emergency Room

Very rude employees. Can never get an actual person to answer the phone. Always get transferred or hung up on. Takes months to get an appointment. emergency room is the worst, is better to go to a civilian ER and have them bill the VA. Tried their ER 3 times always horrible experience. Been going to west over hills ER that accept va I'd as insurance and bills VA.

Went to the ER for neck/back pain. Attending doctor was cool as hell, and the nurse was very helpful and informative.

My experience was absolutely horrible. I dont normally write reviews btw. My wife had a developing cyst in her wrist. We got to the ER with 2 people ahead of her. We waited 2 hours for her to finally be placed in a room, another hour for her to be seen by a doctor then another hour for them to take god awfully long to take X-rays. The covid excuse is OVER. Either adjust and get more doctors in or call it quits. I called out the staff for not being on top of things and not taking proper care of my wife. I was then escorted out to the lobby by a police officer. The nurse had no idea what the doctor was doing. He even called him to see where he was at. I was on the phone with my wife and the doctor told the nurse Im doing X-rays . MY wife texted me from the room and said no hes not, Im still in the room by myself. I am extremely unsatisfied and will be filing a formal complaint. I cant make this stuff up. Im furious.

I come to the emergency room with I think acute gallbladder pain that started last night. If I die it's because I've been waiting 2-1/2 hrs. There was an older gentleman here for a couple of hours who appeared to have appendicitis. His wife wheelef him out to go elsewhere.
