Budget Car Rental

I have never had a worse experience with a rental car in my life. Paid for car that was not available and was not refunded. I am never booking Avis again.

Not at all clear with the rental price, first they charged me the final amount after taxes and when it came time to deliver the car the price was different when I never breached any terms or conditions

I was happy with the car I received for the price and I would highly recommend renting from Budget at 899 North Loop W Fwy Svc Rd Houston, TX 77008. The staff there are extremely nice & helpful.

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never rent from this place again. Despite having a reservation, they didn't have my vehicle and told me that the only way for me to get it was to drive to a different location in Tomball. They were utterly uninterested in being empathetic or helpful with that or any of the other myriad issues I had with the vehicle. If you have literally any other option, you should use it. Edit: I did contact customer service, both via phone and via the contact form on their website. After an agonizingly long back and forth (and multiple instances of telling me no I didn't have proof) they agreed to reimburse the money for the gas I was shorted. However, despite the commenter below and other claiming that they were very sorry and wanted to make it right, they only offered a pittance of a discount (less than 10% of what I paid) and are clearly not going to do anything to stop this from happening again. So I repeat again , DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET AND SPECIFICALLY THIS LOCATION.

We were on a road trip and went here because it was on our way and asked to change our rental because the windshield was badly chipped and we were worried the glass could crack. The woman at the desk blatantly lied to us even if our safety was at risk. She said she had no cars while the parking lot was obviously full of vehicles. Just say you don't want to do it, you're more believable!
