U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union

This bank is so bad at helping it’s loyal members. I can’t believe I’ve been dealing with this for so long just because it’s a hassle to switch banks. No more! I’m fed up. I was treated extremely rude here multiple times and have had so many issues with my online banking.

Definitely don’t feel valued by this credit union. Have been a member for 20+ years and started being charged for my checking account even though I have a savings account and direct deposit. Made the proper changes and they refused to return the money they have taken from me. Feel taken advantage of for sure!

USEagle deactivated my debit card to my checking account because I was late on a loan payment. One is not attached to the other, checking account is not collateral. I had $1300 in my checking account, and the car loan pmt was $208, so they cut me off from accessing my checking account via my debit card. They say it's a convenience and when I made my car pmt they would give me a debit card. NEVER over drew my acct, never misused it, first time ever late on a loan pmt, and even with the added insurance I have to protect me on late payments, they still took away my access to MY money via my debit card. Closed the checking account the same day without making the card payment. Illegal for them to seize my account, but they can restrict access to your money. SO unethical. DO not trust these people with YOUR money. Their vindictive act of turning off my debit card left me stranded on the side of the road with an empty tank of gas and a flat tire and no way to pay to have it fixed. $1300 in my account, and US Eagle controlled my ability to access MY money. So US Eagle, what are you going to do next time when you don't have access to my checking account??? Just closed a large sale, will be depositing my $23,000 commission elsewhere! The on-line banking is horrible, confusing and not user friendly. This is the worst banking experience I have ever encountered.

I've been a life long member. Since back in the USNMFCU days, when membership wasn't open to the general public. You had to be a federal employee or federal contractor. I've also simultaneously had another bank account with Compass bank a long time ago, before they got purchased by a different parent company. Banks are good for investors and high income people. Which is NOT most of society. Especially amongst a global pandemic. Credit unions are great for the every day citizen.
