This is where I wish there was a no star option. I have been a T-Mobile customer for over 22 years. I get that people have bad days. I get that things ebb and flow regarding customer service. This is the worst store I have ever experienced. I have been here three times, the first two I waited and waited....and waited and could not speak to an employee. They were "busy." On the first occasion, an employee was on the floor staring at his phone the entire time not interacting with any of the other 5 people customers in the store, just playing on his phone. Anyone who stepped up to him to ask for assistance was told "someone will be with you in a moment." He never looked up from his phone. What was so important on his phone? Twitter. The employee was on Twitter. There were 2 other employees sitting behind the glass windows yucking it up about their weekend. The second time I went in, there was one person assisting another, the tore was also filled with 8 others waiting to be helped. There were no other employees visible. I left.
The third time I visited the store was my last. I had just purchased a new phone and wanted assistance with installing the new sim card and moving things over. The employee told me I could just set up the new phone at home and didn't need T-Mobile assistance. He did pop the sim card out of my older phone and plopped it into the new phone and said I was "good to go" and could set up everything else on my own. Three days later and I still couldn't get the phone to work. After several days of frustration in trying to get the phone to work, several telephone calls to T-Mobile and visits to other locations, I finally found a competent employee at another location who discovered that the person at the Pecos & Russell branch had put a 2G sim card into the new 5G phone. I will not be going back to this location ever.

A terrible experience at this store. Representative was rude and unwilling to resolve issue with service not working, and fraudulently charged me activation fees for a new line of service in an attempt to fix the activation problem on my first line. After the issue couldn't be resolved, he stated that the activation fee was not refundable and that I should contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. All in all it appears that the agent was fraudulently attempting to activate unnecessary lines of service in order to get a Hotspot device working and hoping that I would just accept a $30 account credit in order to compensate for the activation fee. I completely cancelled my T-Mobile service on the spot. Stay away from T-Mobile and especially this store!
