Inspector Tony missed a lot of mold and rotten wood on attic ceiling, no excuse for this, the attic was well lit and all was very visible. This inspector was recommended by our realtor.

My family used Alta Inspection for my home inspection prior to purchase. Since then we have discovered numerous things that were missed during the inspection. Nearly all the work I have had quoted, professional mention that a home inspection should not have missed these items. There were even items I asked Tony questions about areas of concern that he dismissed and later ended up becoming issues.  I should have known better and got a second inspection done.  My suggestion is to steer clear of this guy.

Tony Ross of Alta Inspection Services was thorough, courteous, fairly priced and super-responsive with his report. We had asked him for a mold report (only) in our house--there was some concern that it might be affecting the health of one of our family. Good news is that Tony came back with a negative report on the mold and I can say that, based on his professionalism, I feel quite confident in relying on his findings.

Tony is worst inspector ever. Misses oil leaking from furnace, dead mother board & blower not working. Inspector did not turn on a/c & therefore didnt notice freon leak. I was told, it is was it is & he did the best he could. DO NOT USE, CASHES YOUR CHECK & RUNS.lots of excuses & no insight into any major mechanical issues

Tony was the best...I spent nearly 3 hours following him around as he carefully and meticulously inspected the home we'd hope to buy, crawling around the crawl space, looking in the attic, outside, garage, explaining what he saw, what it means, what to be concerned about in the future, maintenance issues to do, possible areas to update...also did mold and radon testing...overall, a great experience and help us feel so much more confidence about our purchase...THANKS, TONY !!!
