I would recommend Paul Design Builders to anyone and everyone! We had a fantastic experience with them from start to finish. They worked with us on everything from the floor plan to the electrical to the plumbing, painting, and more. These guys are friendly, experienced, professional, and they offered competitive pricing on a huge project. Our finished basement is beautiful and we could not be happier! Paul gave us a price to build our new home, and all he had to do was send us the final contract to sign. He finally sent the contract 2 months later, and it was the least professional contract I have ever seen. 12 hours before sending the contract over, he asked how to spell my wife's name. The contract came with her name spelled wrong. It had me listed as the contractor in multiple places, and he had 3 different contract prices listed. These are just some of the issues. If he can't even write a contract, I would never trust him to build a house. Almost another month passed of him saying he was going to be fixing the contract, all of a sudden he said he didn't include lumber in the price he had been telling us for 3 months, and raised the price by $50,000. It was a complete waste of 3 months and his slow response time resulted in us losing our construction loan.

I've known Paul for many years and he was the general contractor for my very large home addition in Lemont. Everything went very well and at it's completion, you wouldn't have known there was an addition built on the home. The Quality was excellent. I would highly recommend Paul with Paul Design Builders.

After carefully evaluating several architects and builders in the area, our family decided on Paul Design Builders to design and build our new addition in 2019. From the beginning, Paul and his team took the time to listen to our ideas and work together with us to architect/build a beautiful, affordable, and seamless addition on our home. Paul is a fair and honest man who truly cares about his customers satisfaction, and this was demonstrated multiple times throughout our project. If you are looking to build a new custom home or add on to your existing one, do yourself a favor and talk to Paul before signing a contract with anyone else.
