THE ADDRESS FOR THIS HERTZ IS WRONG, DO NOT GO TO 205 Lewers. The Hertz is located inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel by Waikiki Beach. The entrance is very inconspicuous, right next to an Urban Outfitters in what looks like a shopping mall. We haven't picked up our car so I can't comment on the service but we did waste 30-40 minutes walking to the completely wrong location and then walking back. The phone number doesn't even reach the actual location so don't waste your time with that.

We rented at this location 2 days in a row but returning to different locations both days. I think this location is understaff. Only 1 person worked in the desk, the same person had to run and get the car also. Very inefficient and wasting our vacation time. First rental day, there were 3 people in front of me. It took us over 1 hour to finally get our car. Second rental day, it took us over 1 hour again to finally get our car. And worse... we reserved full size car to be picked up at 11 am. We arrived at 11:10 am and they did not have the car. They said that they will bring the car from another location. But 1 hour later the car have not arrived. The guy who worked there offered us intermediate car (smaller) and said that he will adjust the price! It was $1 less!! What a joke! In other rental place usually if they dont have the car as promised, we got upgraded! This one, we got downgraded! I used to think that Hertz is one of the best car rental place... but not anymore! At least not this car rental place! So we got Nissan Sentra instead of Impala and even that we had to wait 1 1/2 hour before we finally got the car. Lucky that our plane leave in the evening, what happened if those people who rent the car to catch the plane? Waiting for over 1 hour to get the car with reservations are totally not acceptable.
