Positives - Staff when spoken to were great, friendly and communicated clearly, car was as described Negative - they dont actually have a physical location in Waikiki, this bit is not explained on there website, they drop the car off to you in front of a building, and the drop off is in a public car park by leaving the keys in the car unlocked, until one of there employees will come and get it, not a very good feeling leaving a car unlocked with the keys in it in a public place

Rented a Tesla for two days and enjoyed it driving around Oahu. Very easy and convenient pick up and drop off and reasonable rates. Highly recommend!

Fantastic family owned and operated car rental business. Owner gave me his personal number for any type of emergency or mishaps which was greatly appreciated. The Bronco still had that new car smell. Zero complaints. He even drove me back to my hotel when he saw I was going to walk. Thank you again. George

Had a great time renting their 8 seater Its not like one of those major car rentals but in total it was excellent!! Highly recommended! thanks island rental car! Domo Arigato I was a little worried at first because it's not a major rental car company, but overall I was very satisfied. However, here you will need to have an international driver's license to rent. Before actually riding, it is best to call the restaurant at least 15 minutes before arriving at the designated location (near Red Lobster) (in English). If you call after you arrive, you may have to wait a while. When returning, enter the designated parking lot. Proceed to the 6th floor and you'll see a sign that says island car rental, so stop within the frame and put your key in the back of the white box with a hole in it. Or, there's an old man cleaning your car, so you can give the key to him. Again, English is required when calling or receiving calls. Also, if you search for this store's name on YouTube, you will find instructions on how to borrow and return it lol. I wish you the best.
