image Have moved to a new city the past few years. City apartments can be a hit or miss. So far at the Gentry, Ive been v pleased with their response rate in all fronts. Concierge is awesome, 24/7 and v responsive/helpful. Franklyn, in maintenance, has address any service tickets promptly and is super helpful. Maintenance requests were an issue in NYC. Sometimes not fully addressed for months but here its usually within 24-48 hours they reach out. So far its been a hit.

image I am so confused on how this property operates. I literally called them for just about days straight with literally not one answer! You literally have to communicate with the website for any contact. That just shows horrible customer service and a negative barometer to how things would be living at the property. I also did research on the reviews and noticed others have had horrible experiences with customer service as well. Most of the reviews I read are regarding the tour not actually living there. A friend and I signed up for a tour and went (this is not the name I went under as well). The lady was a bit rude from the jump, her name was Bonita. She had a condescending tone and treated me as if I was not important but then asked us to give a review before walking away from us at the end as if even if we had a question it didnt matter. I literally never experienced a leasing tour engagement like this. Usually they are friendly and welcoming and she acted as if we were nothing and inferior. Im a non confrontational person so the whole tour I kept acting nice even though she was shrewd so I know that made her think I was just someone who would just say oh my gosh it was great as a review as if she could bully us into a positive review and it was completely awful!!! After the tour I even questioned if I would want to stay there because of her demeanor but decided I would try and just hopefully not have to interact with leasing often. However, I literally called for days and I literally got no answer, not one!! I would not recommend this community as there staff treats some people like numbers and do not care about the efficiency of the business. Oh and when my friend and I was there for the tour guess what, I heard phone calls just ringing and guess what, of course no answer. Corporate should definitely get involved with the way this community is being managed and visitors and from reading some reviews not just on Google but other apartment review platforms, residents too. Im contemplating calling corporate to share my experiences as well.

image I lived at Gentry from 2020 to 2022. It was a great experience but I am trying to move into a new place and just found out that they are saying I owe them $2500. I paid in full when I left and they have LOST the money orders that I gave them. I have my bank statement showing where I pulled out the exact amount at that time and they are saying that I still owe it because it still says in the system that I owe and they didnt lose it. THEY HAVE LOST $2500 OF MY MONEY AND ARE NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. They also want me to pull money order receipts out of cabbage that were bought two years ago! Ive called corporate and no one has called me back. This absolutely insane as I always paid them on time and never had any problems. As far as I concerned when I gave them the money orders it is up to them to keep up with them and scan them in properly and that was not done so the office is responsible for misplacing them. On top of that, that was almost two years ago. Why havent I been contacted about this balance? Unacceptable.
