Lived here from September 2020 to October 2021. I was on the 2nd floor, right down the hallway from the leasing office, but my apartment faced the courtyard. The first week I moved in there was issues with the fire alarm. It would go off every few days. Apparently someone was pulling the fire alarm or the alarm itself was malfunctioning. Its EXTREMELY loud, and there is no way to hide or dampen the sound. The alarm situation died down maybe a couple months after I moved in, but there would occasionally still be an alarm issue. I mentioned the location of my apartment for a very specific reason. I had no idea of the crime that was going on at the complex. At no point in time did I ever feel unsafe, mainly because of the location of my apartment. Apartments located on the ground floors with balconies facing the street were apparently getting robbed all the time around the holidays of 2020 and thereafter. I can only assume those apartments were targeted because they were accessible from the street. The apartments in the back of the complex also had issues with the homeless sleeping on balconies because the back of the complex was at a dead end road which faces a homeless encampment. Also residents and guests cars were being broken into on the street, in the visitor parking, and in the garage itself. I drove a beat up nissan so no one seemed to care to mess up my car when there was range rovers and BMW's to target instead *shoulder shrug* When I first moved in, my immediate neighbors were really quiet. I remember coming home and walking by an apartment diagonal from mine where the resident was throwing a party one night. They were extremely loud. I was upset that I'd be able to hear the noise from inside my apartment, but when I closed the door I couldn't hear a peep. I was impressed. But the windows let ALL the noise in from the courtyard and the parking garage. I really liked my apartment though. High ceilings because we shared the floor with the leasing office. The only issue with the apartment is the moron that installed the shades didn't think to add a longer shades opener/closer. I had to stand on my toes to reach it if I wanted to let in any sunlight, and I'm 5'5. I also found the phone app entry to be a nuisance. It was mainly designed for iPhones, and made carrying groceries very inconvenient. The leasing staff was nice except for one that made me feel very unwelcome when I was a prospective resident. Liz was great, and my emails were usually answered within 24 hours. Mainetenance was also really nice even though I never had any issues. The food trucks that come around every now and then are nice when you want to have something different for dinner. I never used any of the amenities besides the dog park. When I moved out, I paid for an extra $400 or so on top of the prorated rent for the month because of a previous review from someone that said they had a unknown debt upon move out that was sent to a debt collector. About 2 weeks after I moved out I noticed about a hundred dollars or so was deducted from the overpayment I made. The rest of the balance was mailed to me. The amount they prorate you for upon move out will NOT be the total amount due and they won't even tell you about it. Based on my experience, I'd give it 4 stars. If I lived in another part of the building though I'm sure my rating would've been lower.

Horrible for Work from Home and if you have heart issues! We have these horrible alarms go off all the time (middle of the night and daytime), and you can't sleep, which will inevitably cause you trouble with your work AND your health. Don't rent here- the residents have BEGGED for the issue to be resolved, and it never does get resolved. They refuse to put in cameras or do anything to secure the alarms, and the residents here will tamper with with their alarms so they can smoke inside. The fire trucks are out here regularly, and the complex probably gets fined for false alarms, but to no avail. It's NOT worth it, and the ONLY way to fix the issue is to NOT rent here, so they can't make any money- that way the Landlord is forced to fix it. I'd move of course, but they will force you to pay for the whole remainder of the lease AND a finder's fee, and more. So basically "eat the rich" and help the tenants who DO live here (and have no recourse) by doing yourself a favor and NOT renting here.
