Avis Car Rental

At pick up we had awful customer service. Vague about what we were signing, tried to over charge us. At drop off, she did overcharge us. We had to talk to other staff members who graciously assisted us. I'm glad we came to the airport two hours early.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! RETURNED CAR ON FULL TANK OF GAS AND STILL CHARGES! I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PHOTO! MY DAUGHTER HEARD THIS WOMEN SAY GAS WOULD BE REMOVED AND CHARGED $66.00! Over charged! ALSO AGENTS ARE SO VERY SLOW AND TAKES FOR EVER TO GET YOUR RENTAL! GO TO A BETTER RENTAL PLACE! Also CAR WINDOWS WERE SO DIRTY I HAD TO BUY WINDOW CLEANER TO CLEAN THEM! Terrible service!

The Jacksonville Airport Avis has one of the most inefficient and inefficient methods of securing rentals for their customers (preferred included). I was assigned a smaller car that needed servicing and had bumper damage and just the lack of concern or effort to put me in a rental that was safe and close to my car class was ridiculous. I've been an Avis Preferred member for a number of years and the customer service has significantly declined all over. The Atlanta Airport location is just disgraceful.
