Good price, comfortable but a bit dirty, the service was not very good.

The Inn at 1252 Monterey is a great place to stay, with great location in a cute little area! The room is very clean. The King size room itself is great for 2 people but for a family I would imagine it would be a bit cramped. The shower has crazy water pressure so beware lol and a small opening to get in and out of so its not exactly plus size friendly. However, I would stay here again next time I go to Monterey!

Though we live just abt an hour north of Monterey, we decided to stay overnight because of the wedding we attended in Carmel. To our delight the hotel was only 10 mins away from the venue so that was a win...the location was easily accessible to and from the highway, the hotel grounds was very welcoming, plenty of (free) parking for guests, the room was sufficient and clean, the bed and sheets were soft and clean. Only complaint was the water fr the sink was very weak and never got hot. We had to resort to the shower to brush our teeth. All in all though, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the hotel again, either for a quick getaway or to recommend it to friends and/or family who may be visiting the Monterey area.

The Inn at 1252 Monterey he came my home away from home during my father's lengthy illness and passing. The staff there is professional and very caring! I enjoyed meeting and getting to know many employees there, especially Oscar who I could always rely on to make my day better with a compassionate ear and a good laugh! He is very dedicated employee who strives to give the guests the best experience possible!
