        Even with a remodel going on, staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay.

        FYI they charge you $40 per day to park there even though youre staying there. Just another junk fee for nothing

        Booked through Expedia. No mention of renovations. No hot tub, no pool. Front staff said it was on their website. No. Then Monterey tides charged me ONTOP of Expedia an additional $380 for breakfast(did not have breakfast) pet cleaning fees (did not have a pet) parking (in a complete construction zone).They would not return my calls nor refund Expedia. Beautiful location and the hotel will eventually be awesome but the current management and cosmetic state is very misleading on-top of massive credit card fraud. In total my stay there was almost $650.
