It begins with the union's name: Financial Partners. I appreciate the helpful professionals that assist me each time. Comfortable: the atm is inside which makes one feel better when handling transactions. Safety is most important.

They do not have a atm outside so really pointless for the working class It's tough making payments with this bank in general

Always a good experience for me. Have been using fpcu and this branch for a while and never had any problems. low interest on my loan, free checking account, and low interest on my credit card. Nothing more I should have to say! Ina was wonderful and very informative. Recommend seeing her!

I rarely if ever step foot in any financial institutions (commercial bank or credit union) nowadays as of course the vast majority of what one needs to do in terms of financial transactions can be handled online in 2023.Well unfortunately with FPCU; detailed information (the type of information one might need to determine how to fund a special CD offering for example or details on general underwriting procedures etc) on many of FPCU's offerings are not on the FPCU website...necessitating a much dreaded (for most people I will say...the elderly or those who are allergic to banking online not withstanding) in person visit to a FPCU branch. This particular branch on Michelson in Irvine is first of all in the absolutely 100% inconvenient Trade Shopping Center which is an absolute madhouse on weekends when all of the popular eateries and other businesses are jam packed. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a parking spot to visit this branch only to have to give up and park in a parking structure across the street from the Trade Shopping Center. Not sure how long of a lease FPCU has for the Irvine branch location but there are literally 15 to 20 other larger more convenient Class A Triple Net retail centers with plenty of parking In Irvine that FPCU could have chosen for their Irvine branch. But If you look at the other FPCU branches in Southern California they are all in Class B or in one case Class C retail centers so that may be asking too much of this Credit Union to open a location in a Class A retail center with plenty of parking for its customersAnyway once inside the branch there was only 1 branch manager available (not a single other employee was in the branch) and I am being completely honest when I say this guy had no interest whatsoever in helping me and was staring at his damn computer the whole time I attempted to ask him about funding procedures for a new CD product and inquired about underwriting on another product.Overall this first physical visit to a financial institution in almost 3 years was an absolute frustrating waste of time. FPCU is a good institution with hard working employees (especially those whom I had the opportunity to meet at the new Costa Mesa Headquarters Grand Opening in 2022) and is a great institution as long as you don't have to interact with a human but serious work needs to be done on the CUSTOMER facing end at FPCU with:1. Call Center operations - Impossible to get anyone on phone who can answer more detailed questions on the various FPCU products.2. Branches - Having one COMPLETELY disinterested employee at a branch that has no parking for FPCU customers is a bad way to cross and or upsell products for new or profitable existing customers within the Credit Union. After this visit for example I decided to purchase the products I was interested in at a larger East Coast based financial institution.  FPCU to compete with the larger more polished credit unions and commercial banks in California and beyond needs to step up its game from a Customer Facing standpoint (Phone and Physical Branches)  to keep its semi-captive existing customer base and win new customers.
