There was a fly infestation and it smelt like something was rotting in our room number 127 , When I asked them if they had an issue with flies at their property they asked me to come at a later time to change rooms. Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 1/5 | Location : 1/5 More

Usedhotels.com reward nights to book Friday and Saturday August 6th and 7th at the quality Inn Black canyon. Booked the reservations on Monday that week, 5 days in advance and showed up about 9:00 p.m. on Friday night to learn that somehow they had overbooked, and their system did not assign rooms to the reservations that had been made. Luckily I live in Phoenix so I wasn't put out all that much, except for the fact that I'm staying in hotels currently due to a house fire so I had to try to find another place last minute on very short cash, which is why I had used my rewards nights. I feel bad for the person who came on a flight from Chicago or the ones from Denver and California because they had booked 5 days stays and had no rooms. Quality Inn did not have any consolation for the situation and did not offer to make it right on any level, nor did they assist in refunding the rooms that were paid for at least not in my situation with booking on hotels.com. I am still waiting on the refund and the app stated it could take 10 days did you waiting on a response from quality in about refunding them since it was the hotel's fault. I am not able to say anything about the hotel itself but if it is managed any way like this situation was I can only imagine that it's not somewhere I would want to stay. And then they have the nerve to comment on my one-star review stating they hope to earn my business again, obviously they are not interested in correcting what they have done wrong. Do not recommend this establishment in any circumstances. The neighborhood is actually pretty bad as well there was recently a murder at the same hotel where a woman's head was found in a duffel bag so I don't recommend anyone stay here.

worst nightmare staying there well couldnt even stay thats how bad it was im glad they shut it down
