Hertz Car Rental - Kenosha - 75th Street HLE

Terrible experience. Rented a car for a 12 pm pick up. Arrived at 1203 to find location closed and no one in company able to help us. Our kids all waiting at home packed ready for our big road trip.......budget to the rescue

Terrible customer service. Rude and unprofessional. People working at a car rental establishment that deals with insurance companies really need to have the proper knowledge and training needed to answer customers questions. If you dont know the correct answer go find someone that does. And dont try to upsell me additional insurance when im already fully covered through my own car insurance company that is covering this whole mess to begin with. Just a way to pull as many dollars out of your pocket as they can. I do not recommend renting from this establishment.

1 person working with multiple customers waiting to pick up cars. Reserved online only to be told they don't accept debit cards when I went in to pick up my vehicle. Hertz 1-800 customer service was also horrible to deal with after somehow Hertz charged my card and insisted that there was no way they did without renting a car.. Long story short I walked out and won't rent from Hertz again.

Had the most unpleasant experience & would NEVER rent from here or HERTZ ever again! I came in for a car that was not available but I was still aloud to do a reservation ONLINE. When I got to the facility they were so rude! Said they only had a minivan available and would need to up-charge for the upgrade. I booked a $300 reservation and left with a bill of $887. ($200 deposit) after my family trip I came back to return or exchange the vehicle. But I was not able to!! I was charged for a week even though I used it for 4 days!! !Even then If that was the case I should have been told that when I checked the van in!!! I would have kept what I had already paid for!!!! But instead your staff was so greedy to get that van checked in for you guys to take advantage of your next costumer! Shame on you!! And you tried to sneak a extra day!!! I got refunded $68 what a joke! They said I was late when I checked in at 5:10 and they put 6:35!! What I liked the most is how they rushed you out and tell you we will email you a recipe but you cant even click on that link!!. I still went to the Waukegan location for a car and I also returned that! Brakes were metal to metal! And car wouldnt accelerate because it was reading low oil! No one checked this car! Thanks Enterprise for my pleasant experience after this nightmare!!!!! $297 for one week with an upgrade at no charge! Rental #373561101
