I hoped that there was an option to give zero or minus stars. If you are familiar with visiting local branches and doing all of your businesses offline, US Bank would be okay. If you are willing to use online banking, this is not a bank for you. From the first day of opening my account in US Bank, it kept giving me issues almost every single time. When I tried to register my phone number and verify it, it failed to send any OTP to my phone in spite of many trials. I called customer service twice to solve this problem, they could not solve the issue. The issue was suddenly solved after few days. Even after I get the OTP, it errored that my phone number was already being used by another person. Contacted customer service three times but they could not solve the problem until one of them cut a ticket to their back office and they did some work behind the scene. Next, I tried to connect my bank account to Paypal; Paypal showed up a popup (that is rendered by US Bank) that asked me enter US Bank credentials and OTP. Even after providing right credentials and OTP, it errored "Invalid Security Information" without any detailed information why. I called customer service but the rude customer service representative repeated that they could not and would not do anything for this problem because the issue is started from third-party service. I asked them cut a ticket to back office to solve this issue, they refused. I even visited local US Bank branch to solve the problem, no luck as they didn't know anything about online service. I cannot trust this bank anymore given these experiences. It is very obvious that their main banking software quality would be the same level. Thank you for warning me about the risk and helping me close the account before any big incident happens.

I am giving a one star because there is no option for zero stars. The bank manager (JOK) at this location is incompetent and unresponsive. Now 6 years since the trust account was set up after the passage of my mother he is asking for additional information which was apparently lost or mishandled by the bank in 2017. Though I told him I recently underwent surgery and the cotrustee is 97 years old and out of state he is threatening to close the account in two weeks without a grace period if this information is not received.
