Very interesting vehicle pickup experience, perhaps the wave of the future! Don't let the exterior fool you, it's clean, efficient, the staff are friendly and helpful...and then there are the cars themselves!

TERRIBLE sales experience. Vanessa is helpful at first but as soon as you pay your $250 to reserve the vehicle its as though youre not a priority anymore. Although we were asking questions she kept getting up and going to other customers as they walked in. I get it, you have other customers, but it was constant. Then it was as if she didnt know the process or it was like she expected me to know how Tesla operated when you wanted to buy their car. Teslas buying process is difficult because they do not provide any numbers to call if you run into issues in regard to documentation. Not to mention, the customer service number for this location doesnt answer their phones! This was my first Tesla experience and its steering me away from actually wanting a Tesla. No wonder the $250 is non refundable because Id definitely want it back after dealing with this experience.

Test drove here but took delivery in Rockville for the opportunity to get my model Y 2 days earlier. The car seemed perfect but I didn't see a bad touch up job near the rear-right door handle (most checklists seem focused on panel gaps and rattles). I did see it a few days later but I thought it was tree sap or something else I wasn't going to touch. I then took it to a detailer to get it ppf-wrapped and ceramic coated. A day into the job, the detailer gave me a call asking if the car was really new from Tesla because he had never seen anything like this on a brand new car (he sent me the attached photo). I then tried to set up a service appointment with Tesla. I was not going back to Rockville because it was 50 miles from my house and it's possible that this was their "fix". At every step of the process a Tesla service agent would insinuate that I had done this and that their policy was that I should have made the appointment within 7 days and 100 miles but (out of kindness?) they'll take a look and attempt to fix it. First, nobody at any point told me of this 100 mile policy. 2nd, that's way too small a limit to find issues given a 7 day period especially in this car-centric area (remember the 50 miles just to get the car home). 3rd, why is their first instinct finding fault with their customer who just gave them over $50k? I could say more about the delivery experience and it was a net positive experience until I asked them to address this botched touch up, but if I knew this is how it's going to be, I'd have gone with another automaker.
