We had an excellent stay at this TownePlace in Springfield that surpassed our expectations. Firstly the staff was absolutely amazing! Starting with the GM Chelsee Marshall and everyone on their team was respectful welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We ordered groceries but we hadnt made it to the hotel and the staff put away all our groceries in the fridge so it didnt ruin. The GM listened to our difficult circumstance we were visiting Virginia for and accommodated our stay to make sure we had enough space and accessible accommodation. The rooms themselves are very clean spacious and equipped with appliances if you want to cook. We had a three party reservation and the rooms was very spacious and comfortable to have us all stay for an extended period of time. There is hot breakfast provided and the hotel is clean, extremely quiet and away from hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend. I worked for the Fed. Gov't for 30 years. It kept us going to Comfort Inns. I was referred to that hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights. I dislike that its first floor rooms do not have Jacuzzis in the rooms like other hotels. Rooms: The TV location is difficult to see from bed. The bed is very com- fortable. The desk-chair are miss matched. The chair keeps scrapping the bottom of the desk, not high enough for the desk to be properly used comfortably. Food & drinks: I loved its wider variety of breakfast choices. I liked its coffee, however, It was not as extremely bitter as other coffee, but less than IHOP & La Madeleine's. Both of them are very bitter, not smooth and good tasting.

I want something to be done about the bugs in the bed.I stayed at this hotel for 3 months and it was only cleaned 3 times.This is a hotel where I sleep with bugs.

The Manager, Vicki and Staff Charged $100.00 Incidental and $15.00 for Handicap Parking after I gave a good review when previously they WAIVED ALL FEES! THEY ARE RUTHLESS AND FRAUDULENT. WHEN I COMPLAINED IN THE LOBBY AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK THEY HAD SOME MEAN DOGS IN THE LOBBY AREA BARKING TO ATTACK ME. I WILL BE FILING A HUMAN RIGHT COMPLAINT. DONT USE MARRIOTT. I AM SILVER ELITE AND NEEDED 6 NIGHTS FOR GOLD AND MARRIOTT CORP DENIED. HILTON WAY BETTER. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY MARRIOTT PROPERTIES.
