Courtyard by Marriott Springfield

The room was average, but the mattress was extremely subpar. The amount of noise from rooms above and next door was greater than expected. The access from the Main Street is abrupt and the driveway is very tight. The second day there were two tour buses and the kids on a school trip made the first floor extremely loud. They also wrecked the parking lot with trash and I felt for the staff that was outside picking up there garbage.

Vanilla: Boring, at least according to some uses of the word. Im not sure why though. Its the worlds most popular flavor. Its insanely expensive in a natural state. And I like it. So I would calm this hotel vanilla. Its not Dutch chocolate by a long shot. Here is whats good: Clean rooms, friendly ish staff, big TV, close to many local things (but take a taxi). Whats not so good: $6 for a bottle is water? Pillows are small. I would not feel safe walking to anyplace outside without my support panther.

Great hotel close to DC. This hotel was so convenient yet far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of DC. I stayed for a night and everything was perfect.
