South Ogden Post-Acute

My mom recently passed away from dementia after spending six months here in the Cambridge wing. Prior to this, we spent over 18 months being ghosted by every facility in Northern Utah. I was my moms caretaker for the previous eight years and had reached the point that I could not do it anymore. It was a long and painful journey. When I thought all hope was lost, Roxy took a chance on my mom. I dont mean to sound dramatic here but, this facility literally saved my life. They took her in with open arms and treated her with love. Even though my mom could have extremely aggressive outbursts, they didnt call it quits. I expected them to call at any moment to tell me to come pick up my mom due to her being unmanageable. They never did. Rebecca kept me up to date with everything happening day to day. She was always available to talk to my mom when my mom was needing her. The staff in Cambridge are truly doing gods work. Olivia, Tracey, Devin, Mauda (sorry about the spelling) and so many more were so kind and loving to her, even on the days she didnt deserve it. I would highly recommend South Ogden Post Acute if you are looking for a memory care unit for a loved one. I thank god everyday for bringing them into my life. I will always send anyone looking for a facility, here first. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much. I will never forget your kindness and compassion. My mom loved you all.

I recommend this facility to anybody that needs any rehab, long term or memory care I have been here for almost 2 years we have a great team here to help especially our new administration Kaycee is wonderful I known her since I have been here and she is wonderful. Oh yeah and we can't forget the new admissions Roxy is also wonderful thanks SOPA for all the good care you give me.

Best nursing home I've been in yet, Activities are awesome here , I receive good cares from my nurses and my cnas, I'm very happy here!

This review is on behalf of Maryonne Wilson. I have nothing but praise for South Ogden Post Acute. The way they cared for my brother, Walter Clair Wadman, was beyond what Ive seen at other care centers in the region. The personnel were always accommodating for both him and me; besides that, they communicated his condition as it changed during his stay. I was without an automobile the week of his death and the personnel even helped me to get to the facility a couple of times. I cannot say enough for their services to our family; but mostly I cannot say enough for the care my brother received.

When I first got there I was like oh no where in trouble the nurse was high. Then they forgot he was there didn't get his meds. She said she didn't know what meds to get him because she didn't know where to find them. Then the food. Let's not talk about the food. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I found bloody gauze in the chair I was sitting in that said the room was cleaned and there was a sticker on the door to let you know that the room had been cleaned. Then when we was going to the doctors they had come in and cleaned and said oh sorry we thought you were checking out so we cleaned the room but they left his container that they drained his pee in the bathroom. Still with pee in it but they said that was clean the reviews that they have on their site. It's got to be in the employees because that's the most nasty disgusting place ever on Earth. I wouldn't even put my dog there. It's just so horrible. I didn't feel good leaving my husband so I stayed with him for 3 days until I could get him transferred cuz that place is the horribleest place ever on Earth. But I do not have to say Roxy when's they forgot to give my husband food. She did have food cater in for us and she really seemed concerned but nastiest place terrible wouldn't send my dog there
