So I went into the Fidelity Office today as I opened my account up during Covid and have not been in the office since the office has reopened. 1). I wanted to see what the office looked like and 2). what services they offered inside the office. The gentlemen who was in the open area helped the lady that walked in prior to me. There were two female employees (one black female and one white female (blonde hair, fake eyelashes, I believe blue eyes) in the glass enclosed area that appears to be a conference room. One of the male employees (hispanic I believe) finished with his customer and also went into the glass conference room and they were all back there talking. They all looked my way numerous times and NOT ONE of them came out to say anything (someone will be right with you, sign in process, NOTHING!!!) After more than 5 minutes, almost 10 minutes of waiting (by the way, the gentlemen that was handling the lobby was dealing with the lady that walked in before me and you could tell there was a language barrier and he was doing the best he could do to assist her). So again, I have been waiting now going on about 10 minutes, these 3 employees continue to look at me and I am purposely making eye contact with them. Another female walks in and is not even there one full minute and the white female with fake eyelashes comes out and goes straight to her and asked does she need to sign in and what can she help her with. To say the very least, this angered me and after she asked the lady to sign in, I approached both her and the customer that she was talking to and told her I had been waiting and I was there prior to her. This employee knew I wasn't with the first lady that walked in as I was not in close proximity and again, if I would have been with the first lady that walked in before me, I would have been by her side, I would have been the one talking to avoid the language barrier, I would not be 8 steps away and looking at the employees in the glass conference room area trying to get their attention. None of them walked out to ask if I needed assistance, NOTHING!!!! Their customer service is lacking significantly!!!! They have a job to service the customer, not looking at a customer looking at them and continue to chit chat. The customer should come first!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! What's even more disappointing, the white employee with the fake eyelashes never apologized and appeared as if I was bothering her. For any manager seeing this, I was in Fidelity today, 7/28/2023 around 4:30pm, I would assume there is security camera's if they need to go back and look at the footage. If anyone of those 3 people were the manager, their superior needs to have a talk to them as they lack the skills and traits of a manager/leader.
