Had great accommodations at Home2 in downtown San Antonio! Rooms were updated, very clean. A good self serve hot breakfast with plenty of grab and go as well! Amazing location walking distance to all of the downtown activities. Traveled with my family with a 10 month old and it was amazing. You can stay in a four star hotel for about 40 to 50 more dollars and if you can afford it you should just do that. My husband and I stayed one night here and that was already too many. The room's appearance is fine but I was woken up many times during the night by the sound of large vehicles because the walls to the outside are apparently barely sound proof. More inportantly, and what merited this review, if you need anything at all from the staff you may as well write off even asking. I had the misfortune of leaving my newish (~2 months) $130 electric toothbrush in my room. I contacted staff as soon as I discovered this fact which was when I went to brush my teeth that next night. I messaged them multiple times over multiple days. Every time I got a different employee who told me someone else would contact me. It's been a few weeks and after my last message wasn't even replied to I will never stay in one of these hotels again. I'm fairly confidential they didn't even actually look for the toothbrush. Hilton evidently doesn't pay them enough to care so you shouldn't reward their low wages by staying here. I've never had such issues with a Marriott and that's probably where you should stay.
