Wyndham Garden San Antonio near La Cantera

The worst stay for my out of town guest. The construction, noise and just plain dirty. Not a way to celebrate a 1st year anniversary. Unfortunately, due to the holiday we were not able to get another reservation within our preferred distance. We tried to cancel our other days but hotel policy would not allow us to do so. The photos are misleading and would not recommend this hotel. Get your act together. My poor guest. I felt so sorry for them and spent so much money for 3 days at this place. Never again!

Our stay here was a fantastic one. The check in was completely painless to us. Really clean, good service and nice breakfast. Will visit again!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My fiance and I came to this hotel for his sister's wedding and all of the out of town guests stayed there. We got in late Friday night and the first thing you come across is the overwhelming presence of reconstruction. No worries, they're trying to upgrade - but there's only 1 entrance. We get to the front desk and get our room keys and then we go up to the room. As my fiance open the door, he sees another guy already in the room getting ready for bed. Thank goodness that he was decent. We go back downstairs and explain the situation to the lady at the front desk whose name is Stephanie. She was super sweet and super apologetic and even gave us free breakfast vouchers for the rest of our stay. She got us a new room and it was just a few doors down. Unfortunately for the people who were in that room originally they had come down to see what the issue was and then went back up with us only to find they had been locked out of their room. So like I said it was late whenever we got into the hotel so we went straight to bed. The next morning one of my fiance and I woke up, we found stains on the bed underneath the covers. And when going to the bathroom we found that the complimentary toiletries were used and the trash was still full. We went downstairs and we're right behind a couple or three people and they were complaining to the front desk about how the pool wasn't open and the bar wasn't open and whenever they sign the contract these weren't their expectations and the guy behind the counter whose name is Edward threw his hands up in the air and said I wasn't there when that contract was signed and didn't seem to give any of the complaint any solution. When telling him about our issue all he said was that he would let the housekeeping at manager know and have them take care of it. We went to the breakfast area, which was just a random room and looked like it was unpainted and walls unfinished. The breakfast was subpar and it was incredibly hard to believe that on a regular basis they charge $15 for it according to the signs in the elevators. The best thing about this place was leaving.
