Budget Car Rental

The owner of the location is really sketchy and dishonest. He lied to me multiple times at pick up and drop off. The biggest lie was that I could turn it in late, because this location doesnt accept late returns, so I was charged for a full day (instead of hourly) and a $20 late fee. I was also charged for gas, although I filled up the tank until it was overflowing at a gas station a quarter mile from the location. I was charged an additional $200 when the car was only $100/day to begin with. I never received an email explaining why the $200 charge was placed. I called the 800 number and was able to get a partial refund.

This place is in the same Shopping Center as Best Buy.. easy to get in and out even though they would not rent to me because of credit issues I still suggest them the facility was clean and the lady that helped me was nice

I rented a standard SUV and when I arrived, they only had one car left, which was not what I needed. The guy in the office told me I needed call the other Budget down the street because he had just drove by and they had a lot of cars. Not, can I call and check for you, but "You need to call." I call with the phone on speaker to the other location and explained what happened. He says, "Yes, I'll take care of you. I'll get you a nice car. Why didn't you come here first?" I let him know that the current location was closer to my house. The guy overhead what the other location said and got angry. "He handed me back my driver's license and said, "Yeah, go down there. We don't need your money." I get it, you didn't like what the other location said, but I didn't say it. Plus, your customer service is poor. This was the second time I tried to rent from here. The first time, he was late opening the office and held me up. I'll never return here because after all, they don't need my money.

I rented a car May 26 for work in Dallas, Texas and I arrived at budget in Houston, Texas to pick it up at the rental 12:00pm. The representative John went to have the tires and fluid checked (there was no wiper fluid in the car). After, he pulled the car around, I asked if we could do a walk through together. He said that there was nothing wrong with the car and that I could do a walk through myself if I wanted to. I did a walk through and recorded video footage of the inside and outside of the car. Once in the car I noticed the tire pressure light on. I went back into Budget and asked John to check the tires again. He said that the car was fine and that there was an issue with the sensor. I drove 214 miles out of Houston, Texas to Dallas and the light is still on. I was supposed to leave Dallas Sunday to return the car. However, the tire is low and unsafe to drive. I called roadside assistance and have been left on the line for hours with no assistance. Service was terrible the fact that John put me in a rental car that has a bad tire is a threat to my life. I could have died on the way here I refuse to pay for this. I went to put air in the tire at 10:39 today. Approximately .05 miles away from where I am staying. I drove back to my location 4mins away I went back to check the car at 11:23 and theres little to no air in the tire now. Ive been on the phone for hours trying to talk to roadside assistance and Im stuck in Dallas trying to see how I can get into a new car.
