My friend had a really tough time at MAA Frisco Bridges, managed by Mid-America Apartments LP (MAA). Right from the start, their interactions with the apartment complex were just distressing.
They were given a video tour of the unit by a leasing agent, which convinced them to lease the apartment without seeing it in person. But when they moved in, it was a completely different story.
The apartment was dirty, with visible mold, odors, and dirt everywhere. Despite being assured by multiple leasing team members that the unit would be move-in ready, it wasn't prepared as promised. This breach of the lease agreement left them in a really tough spot, especially since they had already arranged to move from Houston to Frisco.
Despite reaching out multiple times for maintenance to fix the issues, nothing changed. Mold testing even confirmed the presence of mold, but management didn't address it properly. On top of that, there were discrepancies in the reported square footage of the unit, raising concerns about transparency and potential misrepresentation.
Despite trying to communicate with management, including Clyde McGuire and Stasia Milam, they just got inadequate responses. Even though promises were made to address the issues, the necessary repairs and cleaning weren't done satisfactorily.
Because MAA failed to provide a livable environment, my friend had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. Even though they fulfilled all their lease obligations, including paying rent and utilities, their grievances weren't addressed properly.
Attached are pictures taken on their move-in day and after the supposed "deep clean." Trust me, the state of the apartment was even worse on move-in day, showing how insufficient their efforts were.
Overall, this experience makes it really hard for my friend to recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to live.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at MAA Frisco Bridges, managed by Mid-America Apartments LP (MAA). From the outset, my interactions with this apartment complex have been nothing short of distressing.
Initially, I was provided with a video tour of the unit by a leasing agent, which led me to lease the apartment without seeing it in person. However, upon my move-in date, it became evident that the condition of the apartment was vastly different from what was depicted in the video.
The apartment was unacceptably dirty, with visible mold, odors, and dirt throughout. Despite assurances from multiple leasing team members that the unit would be move-in ready, it was not prepared as promised. This breach of the lease agreement left me in a difficult situation, having already invested in moving arrangements from Houston to Frisco.
Despite my repeated requests for maintenance to rectify the issues, the problems persisted. Mold testing confirmed the presence of mold, which was not adequately addressed by management. Additionally, discrepancies in the reported square footage of the unit raised concerns about transparency and potential misrepresentation.
Efforts to resolve these issues through communication with management, including Clyde McGuire and Stasia Milam, yielded inadequate responses. Despite promises to address the issues, the necessary repairs and cleaning were not completed satisfactorily.
As a result of MAA's failure to provide a habitable living environment, I was forced to vacate the premises and seek alternative accommodation. Despite fulfilling my lease obligations, including rent and utilities, my grievances were not adequately addressed by management or their corporate team.
Attached are pictures taken on my move-in day and after their "deep clean." I urge you to imagine that the state depicted in these images was actually worse on my move-in day, highlighting the insufficiency of their efforts.
Additionally, the discrepancies in the reported square footage of the unit further demonstrate the lack of transparency and integrity.
Overall, the failure to meet basic living standards upon move-in makes it difficult to recommend this property to prospective tenants.

Regrettably, my experience has been far from satisfactory.
Upon signing the lease, I had high expectations fueled by a promising video tour provided by a leasing agent. Despite assurances of a move-in ready unit, the reality upon arrival was disappointing. The unit was not ready for occupancy on the agreed-upon move-in date, violating the implied warranty of habitability. Subsequent maintenance efforts failed to rectify the issues, with mold persisting despite assurances of thorough cleaning.
Despite repeated attempts to address the issues, management failed to provide timely and effective solutions, further exacerbating the situation. These challenges have resulted in significant inconvenience and financial strain. Despite fulfilling my lease obligations, including rent and utilities, the response from management and their corporate office legal team to address grievances has been unsatisfactory.
Attached are pictures taken on my move in day and after their "deep clean." I urge you to imagine that the state depicted in these images was actually worse on my move-in day. This further highlights the inadequacy of their efforts and the unsanitary conditions I encountered.
Additionally, discrepancies in the reported square footage of the unit raise concerns about transparency and potential misrepresentation.
Overall, while I wish to remain anonymous, I feel compelled to caution others considering this apartment complex. The lack of meeting basic living standards starting day one of my move in make it difficult to recommend this property to prospective tenants.
